ARTICLE 6: GUARANTEE

Guarantee obligation.

3D Adept undertakes to deliver goods and / or services complying with the specifications set out in the offer, the reliability requirements and the legal provisions and / or current regulations on the conclusion date of the contract.

Legal guarantee.

We will take into account the legal warranty for consumers that is years. It only covers the non-compliance that already existed upon delivery of the goods. During this period, we will replace or repair the defective item (or one of its parts) and it will be free of charge.

We reserve the right to exchange the item in case of disproportionate repair costs or inability to repair. Defects that occur after a 6 months’ period following the delivery date are not supposed to be present at the time of delivery, unless the customer provides proofs of the contrary.

Commercial guarantee.

Some items are covered by a commercial guarantee. No commercial warranty affects the legal warranty. Unless proofs of the contrary have been demonstrated, the commercial warranty begins on the date of entry into force of the legal warranty.

Warranty conditions

To benefit from your guarantee, you must be able to present the proof of purchase, the receipt or the invoice. The guarantee is non-transferable. You are required to immediately control the goods once you received them. If the delivered products have not been ordered, or are defective or incomplete, you are required to notify us immediately by sending us an email before returning them.

During the warranty period, any defect must be reported within 2 months following the observation. After this period, you are no longer entitled to a repair or replacement. For orders, it is mandatory to contact our customer service in advance to agree on practical arrangements.

The use of an article after the detection of a failure, or damage occurring after detection of a failure, and / or the resale of an article after a failure has been detected, cancels the right to a repair or replacement.

If it happens that the complaint is justified, we proceed to the replacement of the delivered goods, the repair or the settlement of a compensation according to the foreseen conditions.

Exceptions.

You cannot assert the warranty if you are in default of a contractual obligation, if you repaired or operated the goods yourself, or have them repaired or operated by third parties.

The warranty never covers defects resulting from accidents, an aggravation of the state by negligence, falls, use of the article which is not in accordance with the intended use, non-compliance with the instructions’ guide or manual, adaptations or modifications made to the device or product.

Furthermore, the warranty does not cover the brutal use, incorrect assembly, incorrect maintenance, or abnormal, commercial use.

It neither does not apply to consumables and short-lived items (such as filaments) nor in the event of intervention by a third party not recommended by us, nor if the defect results wholly or partly from the current or supposed regulations regarding the nature or quality of the materials used.
